Sandra had a good week she was able to go to Maplewoods soup and sallad Tuesday and saw lots of her old freinds from Maplewood and Carlyss. We went to Craker Barrel for lunch yesterday and her & Pam went to the Henning house after that. Her BP has been good this past week and we will be going back for check ups with Dr Lewis/Howe in the next few weeks.

My doctor visit with Dr. Lewis on Monday went great! Blood work showed I am not anemic anymore, and that I DO NOT have diabetes yeah! I need to make a followup appt.with dr. Howe who put the stints in my aorta. Also my blood pressure was in the normal range. Afterwards we ate at burger barn in LC and then to S&M to buy a coat. At only $20 ea. We ended up buying 2.
Yesterday was Gina’s birthday and we were supposed to meet at Olive Garden for supper. As I was getting ready, I got extremely dizzy, nauseated, and couldn’t stop throwing up. Gene called Gina to let her know we couldn’t make it. I took some Dramamine and finally settled in for the night. Don’t know if I had a virus or what. Felt good today.
Today I had a visit from Glynda Dougherty and Angela Leblanc. glynda brought her little granddaughter who is such a cutie pie and such a good baby. It was such a good visit. Later the physical therapist came by. The nurse called and will come tomorrow.
Last night we went to Target to get Eden a birthday gift, got her some dress up skirts shirts and a hat. We went to her party and she got a lot of neet gifts. While we were there Sandra got sick with a upset stomach. She had to lay down for a while before we could leave. On the way home she got sick again was able to get her home and in bed. We were going to get her a coat today but with all the rain and cold we stayed in. She is feeling much better today, we have a dr appointment tomorrow hope to get some question we have answered. We will let you know the results.

Our granddaughter, Allie, was here today to help take down Christmas decorations and clean, change bedding, et. she is working to save money for a mission trip this year to Equador with Michael. Then she had a birthday party to attend.
I’ve had a good week.the PT worked with me on the stairs and thinks I am strong enough to go all the way up this weekend (with gene). This is very promising. I have also been reading on the blog all the entries and wonderful encouraging words you all sent to me. Ai am so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family.

We would like to wish all friends and family a very happy NewYear. Yesterday was very special we had all the kids and grandkids over to do Christmas with Chad and his family. They will heading to Disney World later today. We need to keep them in our prayers as the travel there and back, I know the boys will have a great time. We looked up things they will be doing on the internet yesterday. sandra and I had a date night Thursday we went out to eat and the look at the Christmas Light along the lake Sandra had told me she was getting “Pool House Feaver”. We feel blesed that all is going so good with Sandra at this time please keep us in your prayers because we still have some hurdles to face this year.

How blessed our family has been this year! Thanks to all the Prayers, masses,and rosaries,and good thoughts for my recovery from a torn aorta. I didnt realize how close I came to death, plus I dont remember any of it except the pain when the. Aorta started tearing. God was with me.
Gene and I spent Christmas Eve at Michael And Tanya,s so we were there for Christmas morning with the girls and for dinner. it was a wonderful wonderful day.. We spend Christmas with Chad and family this Friday before they head off to Disney World.
I continue to work with Home Health getting my strength and balance back. I go back to the doctor in two weeks. I am facing a possible major surgery in Houston to remove the anurism on my renal artery.
For now the whole family is in great health thanks be to the good Lord. We are truly blessed!
We came over to Mike’s for Christmas eve and had a great time eating and watching old home Christmas movies. Gina and Glenn was here and we were entertained by the grandkids. They had wigs and Eden was the lead singer.I put a pork roast on slow cooking I hope it turns out ok. It’s great watching the grandkids open gifts it sure reminds us of our kids tearing into the gifts!

Sandra was tired most of the day yesterday she had done a lot of walking and we went up the stairs for the 1st time. Her BP has done better and her blood sugar is just out of range. I think we both are going to gain weight due to Pams cooking, we were very lucky to find her. I would like to thank all for the prayers, calls, visits and support that was given while Sandra was in the hospital and wish all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We had a good visit with dr Lewis he adjusted some of her meds and said overall she has come a long way and is doing good. She has been having night sweats and he put her back on her harmone meds. He is trying to keep her off some meds she was on prior to her spell. He went into detail about the aneurysm she still has and will set an appointment with Dr Howe but, said the only place with any experience with its location would be in Houston. We all like dr Lewis he has been a big asset to Sandra and our whole family! He oked her to increase her PT and told her she could go upstairs with help???

We been a little lax on our post for some reason our wifi comes and goes. We had a good weekend we got out and visited and ate with Mike and family on Saturday . Sunday we went and saw her mother and Charlotte and finished the day eating at Cracker Barrel. She is still having touble with BP but we are going to Dr Lewis Tuesday. I’m trying to get her to do the posting to her with her cordination.
